Srinagar 05 June (KNO) : Appealing government to return the dead body of Mudasir Ahmad Bhat resident of Parigam Kulgam, killed in an encounter at Tangdar few days back, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that the administration is giving excuses regarding the issue. In a statement issued today he said “Not only the family but the entire area has been appealing Govt. to give them back the mortal remains of Mudasir.

By all measures they are within their legal, moral and religious rights. The appeal made by the mother of the deceased militant should shake the conscience of those who are giving excuses and making the family to suffer and cry from Kulgam to Tangdar”.

Er. Rasheed added that he has been in touch with the police and civil administration since last few days, but unfortunately no one is taking the issue seriously and are passing the buck. He said “Administration must without excuses handover the dead body to the family who are currently in Tangdar since last few days. Seeking Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s intervention in the issue, Er. Rasheed said that the denial is a direct interference in the religious affairs and the anger of the people in the native area and elsewhere is absolutely genuine and Govt. must not make it a point of ego.
